Amaury Fonseca Junior

Dr. Junior co-founded Vision Brazil Investments with Fabio Greco in 2006.  Prior to Vision, Dr. Junior was a co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Capitania Asset & Risk Management.  Prior to co-founding Capitania, he was Managing Director, Head Trader, and Treasurer for Bank of America in Brazil.  Dr. Junior was previously Head of Brazilian FX and Derivatives Market Making and Head of Brazilian Fixed Income at JP Morgan in Brazil, and before that he spent 4 years at JP Morgan in New York.  Before moving to Wall Street, Dr. Junior was a Consultant in mathematical modeling and numerical algorithms for Thinking Machines Corporation, and for several large US oil and gas companies.  He currently holds seats on the Board of Directors of several companies. Dr. Junior holds a PhD in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from MIT and an MSc and BSc from PUC Rio de Janeiro.

Fabio Greco

Mr. Greco co-founded Vision Brazil Investments with Amaury Junior in 2006. Prior to Vision Brazil, Mr. Greco was a Founding Partner of Capitania Asset & Risk Management, working there until March 2006. Fabio was responsible for the Derivatives Trading Book of Bank of America in Brazil. His management responsibilities included the following market making books: FX options, interest rate options and cross currency swaps. He was also part of the team responsible for proprietary trading. Prior to joining Bank of America, Fabio worked two years at Banco Patrimonio (Salomon Brothers), where he was responsible for derivatives and proprietary trading. He also worked six years for Chase Manhattan in the derivatives trading area.

Fabio Greco holds a MSc in Financial Mathematics from University of São Paulo, an MBA from IMD in Switzerland and a B.A. from FGV in São Paulo.

Primo Aldrigue Junior

Prior to joining Vision Brazil Investments as a Portfolio Manager for the firm’s investments in Special Credit Situations, Mr. Aldrigue was the senior director responsible for credit recovery operations at Santander. In a career spanning over 30 years, Mr. Aldrigue has also held positions of director of Rede Comercial de Agências at Banespa, director of the agribusiness operations department at Banespa, and director of structured operations for BNDES financing at Banespa.

Primo Aldrigue holds a BA in Accounting and a JD from Universidade Católica de Santos/SP, to go along with a specialization in finance from the University of Sao Paulo and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas.

Leonardo Cavalcante Barbosa

Mr. Barbosa joined Vision Brazil Investments in 2007, became the company’s General Counsel in 2010 and is now involved in the Special Credit Situations strategies. Prior to joining Vision, Mr. Barbosa’s professional activities included a 6-year tenure at the Brazilian law firm Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados, where he focused on Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Contracts and foreign investment in Brazil. Mr. Barbosa is a member of the São Paulo Branch of the Brazilian Bar Association, a member of one of ANBIMA’s (the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association) committees for local investment funds and a member of LACCA – Latin American Corporate Counsel Association.

Leonardo Barbosa holds a Law Degree (JD) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a Masters Degree (LL.M.) in Corporate Law from Insper São Paulo.

Rob Weintraub

Mr. Weintraub joined Vision Brazil Investments in 2013 as a Portfolio Manager for the firm´s investments in Special Credit Situations. Mr. Weintraub is originally from the U.S. where he worked for large investment banks including Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. He spent five years at Deutsche Bank in New York as a Credit Trader with a focus on Credit Derivatives and High Yield bonds. Mr. Weintraub permanently relocated to Brazil in 2009. During his time in Brazil, he worked directly for the three controlling shareholders of 3G Capital between 2009 and 2011, where he helped them manage their stakes in large global consumer companies. Mr. Weintraub was also a Partner at BR Partners, a local Brazilian investment bank, from 2011 to 2013.

Mr. Weintraub earned a bachelor of science from Syracuse University and an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management with an emphasis on Financial Engineering.

Fernando Raul Morelli

Mr. Morelli currently holds the CFO position at Vision Brazil Investments.  Previously he was directly involved with Vision’s management of agricultural production (mainly soybeans and corn), acquisitions and development of farm land, and cattle business related activities (investments, operations and distressed recovery) in Brazil’s mid-west and north-east regions since 2007. Initially, he managed the implementation of green field projects for meat packing and feedlot units, acting as CFO for Vision’s related invested companies.


His working experience also includes 3 years as Treasurer/Financial Corporate Manager of Perdigão Agroindustrial S.A. (currently Brasil Foods S.A.), the largest Brazilian animal protein producer, where he had full responsibility for the company’s financial activity. Prior to that, Mr. Morelli worked for more than 13 years at J.P. Morgan and Chase Manhattan Bank as Vice-President, where he held several positions in the Trading, Treasury, Financial Structuring and Sales divisions. He started his career at The First National Bank of Boston and The MAC Group, a consulting company.


Mr. Morelli holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Escola Politécnica – University of São Paulo and a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from FGV.

Fabio Monteiro Chehab

Mr. Chehab is a Consultant of Agro Land and Operations and also Vision’s representative in the Investment Committee of the Urban Real Estate Business.
Prior to joining Vision Brazil Investments in 2008, Mr. Chehab was the Head of Product Control for Consumer Treasury at Citigroup in São Paulo and, between 1997 and 2008, he held positions of Head of Financial Planning, MIS and Expenses Management at Citigroup in São Paulo.
Before becoming Portfolio Manager of Agro Land and Operations, he worked as Vision Brazil Investments’ CFO.
Mr. Chehab holds a B.A. in Industrial Engineering from POLI – University of São Paulo.

Miguel da Rocha Marques Neto

Mr. Marques joined Vision in 2009 after working for 6 years in the banking area of Pinheiro Neto Advogados and 1 year in the corporate area of BKBG Advogados. Mr. Marques holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Level I certification and is a member of the Private Equity Funds committee at ANBIMA (the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association).

Mr. Marques holds a Law Degree (JD) from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), a certificate in Finance from University of California Berkeley, Extension and a Professional Masters 2 Degree in Banking and Capital Markets Law from Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas (Sorbonne Universités).

Ben Jackson

Mr. Jackson joined Vision Brazil Investments in 2013 as Head of Investor Relations where he is responsible for managing client relationships and fund operations across the platform. Prior to joining Vision, Mr. Jackson was the Head of International Business Development for São Paulo based Vector Investimentos from 2010 to 2013, where he focused on deal origination and capital raising for investments in structured credit, distressed credit and real estate.

Mr. Jackson holds a BA in Economics from North Carolina State University and an MBA from a partnership program between Fundação Getulio Vargas (Brazil) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA).
